  8. OPERATION

  10. Nico's Viewer lets you view, manipulate and save graphical images.
  11.  
  12. From its File menu you can open, save and print your image. Nico's Viewer
  13. can read and save TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PCX, GIF, PNG, EPS and TGA files. A file
  14. read in any of these formats can be saved in any other of these formats.

  16. From the File menu you can also set Nico's Viewer as default viewer for any 
  17. of these formats. A double click on a file of this format in Windows Explorer 
  18. will then start Nico's Viewer with the image opened.

  20. From the Edit menu you can copy the image to the clipboard, for use in other
  21. programs. You can also do basic manipulations (flip, mirror or rotate).

  23. From the View menu you can set the way the image is shown within Nico's
  24. Viewer's main window:
  25. - Click Normal view to show the image in its original size. For large images
  26.   you may have to scroll.
  27. - Click Fit to window in one direction to reduce large images in size in such
  28.   that only one scroll bar (horizontal or vertical) is necessary.
  29. - Click Fit to window in both directions to reduce large images in size in
  30.   such a way that the whole image fits within the window.
  31. Previous image / Next image let you browse through the pages in a multi-page
  32. TIFF file.
  33. View image information shows information on the currently shown image.

  38. Nico's Viewer is freeware. You may copy and distribute it as long as you
  39. don't make money from it, and distribute it in its entirety, including
  40. this unmodified README.TXT file.
